Being a frozen yogurt aficionado, I just had to check out Let’s Yo: A Yogurt Experience, a parlor that just recently opened its doors to the yogurt-loving public a few weeks ago.

The parlor, is located in Florham Park, just off of Columbia Turnpike and in the same shopping center as popular burger joint Smashburger and sandwich shop Panera Bread.

On April 1, Let’s Yo hosted an extravaganza for its grand opening, complete with music, games, face-painting, and balloon animals.

With fro-yo parlors popping up left and right, it’s hard to tell one place from the next. Let’s Yo, however, has a lot to set it apart from the competition, such as Red Mango, located just across the street.

Since Red Mango opened in Florham Park in the spring of 2011, it has been the go-to fro-yo spot for FDU students. But Red Mango should seriously watch out. In my opinion, Let’s Yo is definitely the new sheriff in town.

The first thing you’ll notice about Let’s Yo is how many toppings they offer. I’ve been to tons of fro-yo places at this point, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one place have so many toppings.

The toppings include strawberry bobas (little balls of strawberry-flavored sugar that burst in your mouth), chocolate rocks, rainbow cookies, mochi (mini rice cakes), cheesecake bites and at least 20 more.

The next thing you’ll notice is their flavors, such as sea-salt caramel, red-velvet cake and peanut-butter cup, to name a few.

Out of the flavors I’ve tried, white-chocolate pretzel has been my favorite, and has yet to be topped.

Let’s Yo also has iPads available for use, so you can play games as you eat your fro-yo. Smoothies are also available, along with pre-packed “to-go” packs of fro-yo.

Let’s Yo also offers a loyalty card, and wristband that, if worn in the store, gets you 20 percent off of your purchase.

Let’s Yo is a self-serve fro-yo parlor, and their creamy, yogurt goodness is priced at 49 cents per ounce.

To sum this review up, in the past three weeks that Let’s Yo: A Yogurt Experience has been open, I’ve been there eight times.
Enough said.
