Fairleigh Dickinson University’s Florham Campus Student Government Association is happy and eager to announce the progress of our goals for the fall semester.
After prioritizing the student body’s suggestions and concerns to better the campus experience of FDU, the first goal to create an updated smoking policy on campus is underway.
Additionally, SGA is continuing to finish the new interfaith room. This private space will be a safe room for students of any belief and religion to take part in their respective practices. This room is being constructed out of a classroom above the library adjacent to the periodicals in the Monninger Center. The room should be ready for use by January 2018.
Thirdly, SGA is excited to host Third Thursdays, a Q&A with SGA for all FDU students who have questions or concerns. Tables will be set up in Leafs and Grains and the Dining Hall during every third Thursday of the month from 9 to 5 p.m.
If you are interested in joining a more active student voice on campus, please feel free to attend SGA’s open meetings on Tuesday’s from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. in the Wroxton Room. Free pizza will be served at all meetings.
Don’t miss this great opportunity to help make FDU an amazing place to learn!
